Most people have one big problem; they don’t know how to be
content with what they have. I too am
guilty of not being content. (Philippians 4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned in whatsoever
state I am to be content.) I find that I often times overlook all the wonderful
things I have and focus on the things I want or don’t have instead. It makes for a very unhappy life when we
always think about what we want and not about the things we have. I have learned that it is better to be
content with what you have.
Be content with
what God has given you, what he has allowed you to have. Be content with where
you are at in your life with what God is doing in your life even when you think
you should be doing something else. God has a plan for our lives, we don’t
always know what that plan is but we have to trust that God knows best and be
content!
