   I Thessalonians 5:17   Pray without ceasing.


   For a lot of Christians prayer has become a routine. We are taught as little children to say our prayers before bed and to give thanks at meal times. It becomes a routine that we carry with us into adult hood. Some people never grow out of a child's prayer.
     The prays become stale and devoid of meaning. Eventually God send as a wake up call by throwing a wrench in a perfect world. someone gets sick or hurt or even dies, and we find ourselves running to God in prayer. Which is what he wants.
   God doesn't just want us to come to him in pray when our lives are falling apart. He wants us to pray to him always. No matter how small our problem may be he wants us to pray to him about it. Even if we have no problem at all God still wants to hear our prays.
    Don't let your prays became stagnant pour your heart out to Jesus no matter how silly it may seem that;s what he wants, for us to pray without ceasing and with meaning!
 

Stop and smell the Roses

    I know it's been a while since i posted anything. I have just stayed so busy lately, it seems that life goes by faster and faster. I just realized the other day that I hadn't posted anything all year!! I keep thinking that I'll do it later, but there never seems to be any time.
    We get so caught up in everything we have to do in a day that we end up letting life pass us by. I think it's time we slow down a little bit and enjoy this world that God created for us. Take your kids to the park. Read a book. Just sit down and enjoy the beautiful weather. Thank God for creating such a wonderful place for us to enjoy.
   I think it's time we stop and smell the Roses!!!
