God is my strength

Psalms 46:1  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Life can be troubling and difficult. You may face many trials and that will test your faith. Just remember that God is your refuge. When things overwhelm you, you can hide in God. He is our strength.  we are nothing on our own. God is who we turn to when we are in trouble and he is always there to help no matter what we can depend on him. We are in a safe position because God is our refuge and strength.

Starting your day with God

Psalms 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, o Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and I will look up.

       If you get up and do the same thing every morning your day can sometimes be boring. God is never boring and if we seek him first thing in the morning he is ready with a new revelation that can change your whole day. You don't have to do the same thing when you seek God you could keep it fresh and new each day by seeking him in different ways. One day you may sing a song on another day you might read from the bible or even just say a simple prayer. Whatever you do you are guaranteed to start you day off right if you start with God.

Everyday is new and God's mercy is new every morning!

A blessed nation

    Psalms 33:12 Blessed is the nation who's God is the lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

     Americans have been the recipients of many blessings. We have been preserved for many years with prosperity; We have grown in numbers, wealth, and power. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand witch grants our prosperity, Multiplies, enriches and strengthens us. We have vainly imagined in the deceitfulness of our hearts that all these blessings have been produced by some wisdom of our own. We have become to self- sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, to proud to pray to the God that made us.

     Blessed is the Nation whos God is the lord. I don't believe America is a God fearing nation anymore, we have strayed so far from God I don't know if we can ever come back from it. I have seen God taken out of our court rooms out of our schools , and out of the hearts of the people. I fear for what the future might hold if we don't get God back soon!
